Artists and God

I like to think that God is quite the artist. Not just in innate talent, but also in his fierce passion in what he calls his own. He creates a world and a group of beings that he longs to have worship Him, and when they criticize him and turn to other Gods he takes this very personally. I can think of a few people who had to wander the desert till they died because they countered his ways.
Artists exist in many formats, the football coach who designs the plays that go beyond the traditional and is criticized for trying something unorthodox, or the engineer who develops the device that allows for greater efficiency but is criticized for fixing something that is not broken both are not exactly happy when these happen.
In thinking about these you realize that God put a little artist inside of everybody, a little part of God I like to think exists in those moments when you realize you have done something exceptional and you are the only one who fully appreciates it and you passion for it is so big, that the slightest touch of criticism from someone who does not understand it lights a fire that cannot be quenched.

So find that little piece of Godly creativity in yourself, pass the ball in a way that scares people, create efficiency where no one else sees it necessary, live outside the box that constrains you because someone told you that is the only way it should be done.
