The thoughts of a newly married, recently graduated, christ-seeking, pastor-to-be

Robbed...Literally

⊆ 1:37 PM by Zach Tanksley | ˜ Comments

So after an amazing weekend of seeing my family, buying a new TV for Karina and I, and stuffing my belly with lots of great food... I come home to find someone has broken in and stolen the good ole Command Post as well as my Electric Bass and my Acoustic Guitar.... Suck.
It was a pretty depressing evening.

Please Pray that I don't get too depressed over the loss of all these things (all my pictures of Karina and I were on that iMac). We are taking the necessary steps to insure the retrieval or replacement of the lost goods.

Thanks...

Zach

So, I spent the weekend with Pastor Matt Anderson and had a pretty phenomenal time. And while I was there, I decided to imitate one of my photographer heroes, Daley Hake and do a lil downtown photo shoot of Matt. This was what I got :)

Theology, Quiet Cars, and Bomberman

So I decided to more or less impromptu go visit my old college roommate Pastor Matt Anderson at his bequest because he is lonely since his wife is out on the east coast. So it was a fun drive for me to drive him back to Sacramento from his visit up to Redding and enjoy some great talks about where and how we try to encounter God in worship. We did this while listening to just about every David Crowder Band CD that has been released. We talked about how sometimes it is hard to get past ourselves, and about playing Bass.
Halfway thru the trip and I let Matt take the wheel so we could get to his house, and after he figured out hwo to drive stick again we got going, and he complimented my car by saying it was very quiet, and wondered if I ever knew if it was off or on. It is much quieter than my old cars... but nothing on a Prius. Those things are assassin cars. So stinking quiet you don't even here them drive up on you.
We capped the night off with some Brewed Beverages and a lil Bomberman '93 on the Wii. So good times had by all so far. Tomorrow, Church, and who knows what else!

So, the other day, I was sifting through my sitemeter stats... and I realized... A lot of you really do swing through and read a snippet of my odd mind. So I just want to say thank you whether you are from China or Chico, CA. Thank you. It blows me away that so many of you come through.

Much Love, more real blog posts coming soon, I promise.
